We all know that the Fantastic Four reboot was a Fantastic Failure that has fans screaming let Marvel have them back. Of course we all know by now that Fox was determined to continue on with the franchise announcing a sequel for June 2017.

Well today Fox quietly removed the sequel from their schedule. What does this mean? It could simply mean Fox has decided to take more time to try and save the franchise. Perhaps rebooting it yet again. Or it could mean that they are in quiet negotiations with Marvel/Disney to help bring the Franchise home. At this point it’s really anybody’s guess, but we can’t help to speculate that perhaps a negotiation with Marvel is in the works. Remember Spider-Man returned home while the franchise was still going strong, and no one saw it coming. This time we can all hope.
